After much work we have the entrance road ready and landscaped with laurel hedges to blend in with the rest of the park…they just need a trim now. Ready for tarmac!

The new laurel hedges at the entrance to the new development are trimmed to size and will in time match all other hedges throughout the park!

3rd April – Turf Cutting Begins...

The first strip of a massive amount of turf is cut at the edge of one of the new roads.

5th April – Cable Arrives

16th April – Let the digging Begin

After much waiting for some better weather we finally begin to dig the first trench for the pitch electricity supplies.

Now the turf is off we get on and dig the road out and then use the topsoil to form the new pitches!

20th April – Stoning the Road Up

Roadway is raised to the correct level with recycled stone. It is then rolled ready for topping with a final stone layer at a later date.

So as you can see we have spent many hours preparing Park Field for its first coating of tarmac! Tomorrow is the big day we've been working towards and we are all very excited!

24th July - Tarmac going down!

The day we have been working towards is here.....the topcoat is now going down and really adding a finishing touch to the work we have been doing all year. It really is looking great thanks to the team at Duffields of Ripon.

26th July - New Decking

We are very pleased to announce that many of the newly developed pitches will accommodate wrap around decking supplied by Fitrite. All decking has grey balustrades with maple effect deckboards. These come with an outstanding 20 year warranty, non slip surface, no splinters, warps, creaking or cracking!....and to top it off they look amazing!
Big thanks to team Fitrite for getting these ready for our opening week!

30th July - Park Field Open

Park Field is now ready for viewing!!! All tarmac is complete in this phase....just need to tidy up some edges and get some turf down later in the year...looking really good.....very proud team!!

1st August - Waste Tank Preparation

7th August - Waste Tank Ready to Install!

All services have now been prepared and the waste tank hole dug out. Now for lifting it in and securing in to place!

8th August - Large Waste Tank Milestone Reached

The brand new waste tank is now installed and ready for use on all remaining plots. Ground is reinstated and just needs some rain to help the grass recover!

17th August - Park Field Entrance Stone

We finally get time to lower in the Park Field entrance way welcome stone........all it needs now is a sign making up and job will be done! Just love the finishing touches!!

We have been quiet on the Park Field updates of late but rest assured we are still busy working away!!! ....we are filling up fast! There are only 4 empty pitches left and some of those have vans due soon!! Keep your eyes peeled or let us know if you want to reserve one of these great elevated plots!!

Only one full day down and we have already completed the turfing on one pitch......what a difference!!! So very pleased with the final product. Plenty more hard days work and we will have all 11 of the first development covered in grass!!

20th October - Four new Plots!

All turf used is being reclaimed from plots which are still to be developed. The plots in this photo have now got electricity, water, mains drainage and since the turf has been removed they are now beginning to take shape!

3rd November - Turf Down!!!!!!

After much cutting, rolling, loading, unloading, laying over and over and over again....the turf is now all down and looking great! Really happy to see the results after a full season of having to imagine!!!! stop will be hedge this space!

9th November - Newly Planted Gardens

We have now turfed and replanted the newly formed gardens at the exit of the Park Field Development. All plants had outgrown their tubs around the park and have been transplanted...looking lovely! Well done Helen, Kathryn & Simon

10th January - Another Stretch of Tarmac!

We may have been quiet on here for a little while but I’m pleased to say the development has not stopped moving forward! We have spent a lot of time planning, and preparing for another stretch of tarmac road and driveways to be put down and now they are done!.......and now we are having a break!!!

5th March 2019 - Back Open and Cracking On!

So after a little break over the winter period we are back at it moving on the next phase of new pitches! Clean hardcore is going in today ready for rolling and then topping with the final layer! Hard graft but rewarding to see it coming on!

5th March - New Trees!

Sadly some of our trees had been ivy strangled and had to be removed due to rot and falling deadwood. We are really pleased to have started a replanting scheme which will add some colour and new trees to the river boundary!
